I'm waiting for Roots to come out staring Gary Busey and John Cena.

Alexander Hamilton bought and sold slaves for his pro-slavery in-laws....

Meh, then they can sort that out. Within the last week, I defended the Jefferson Monument, so it's of no moment to me

A whole lot of people in this thread have clearly never seen the show.

Regardless of your political stance, it is a fantastic production and lesson on the amazing person Alexander Hamilton was.

Nothing against the play because I haven't seen it but giving Disney any money for that privilege or ANY OTHER privilege is not on my list to put any money into.

frick Disney.

I've seen the touring production 3 times and just finished my first of many viewings on Disney+

It's such a great show. Easily my favorite and I've something like 25 Broadway shows.

Most of the retards on this board should give it a view as I suspect the only thing they actually know about Hamilton came from a got milk commercial...

I’ve seen it performed live. I enjoyed it. But I think it was just as much the whole going-to-the-theater experience as anything. Not sure how much I’ll enjoy it in my recliner in my living room.

It's not political unless you really hated those Federalists...

People on this board who are talking shite about it without having seen/heard any of it are only doing so for one reason.

I’m in a weird state here. I’m a Republican, hate SJW stuff, hate rap, but highly enjoy musicals and I think Hamilton is brilliantly done and applaud the creativity on Miranda’s part.

However,

Hamilton sucked and had very terrible stances. Blame him for the Fed.

Obviously he’s a very important part of our history but I always feel he’s overrated because he decided to throw a duel.

Like with many things, it was different 250 years ago. It's hard to blame him for the monstrous machine the government has turned into.

You want his actual views, read the federalist papers.

fair enough. Winners go home and frick the prom queen.

I love a good Broadway play. It’s always a fun night. Put on a nice blazer, dinner and some drinks beforehand, then head over to the theatre and watch extremely talented performers alongside a live orchestra.

Wife dragged me kicking and screaming to Mamma Mia on the West End last year. I thought I would hate it because the movies are total garbage but I was very surprised at how great it was.

People who trash Broadway plays are just insecure about themselves. Sad
