I watched it and really liked it. Not as good as “fiddler on the roof” but very good. History is being rewritten the last 30 years with a horrible slant. History is history but the evil dems are changing it. Youngsters are just naive and stupid what’s new ?

So we’re just totally abandoning teaching history in any school system starting today?

That’s unfortunate.

Anything that shows the awesomeness of our country, they will hate....while the orange man is in office. Obama in office? Hamilton is a joy!

He's not an a-hole. Just an arrogant attorney who's passionate about Hamilton and is a big ole liberal. Forgive ole Joshy.

My wife was discussing it today. She loved the musical, can’t wait to see the movie. I half-jokingly mentioned that libs would want it cancelled.

Cancel culture isn’t made up of the brightest bunch. They only learn shite when the topic is brought to the forefront. It’s funny how many of them don’t know jack about American history until they decide they want to take down statues.

It’s an excellent production. The left continues to eat it’s own. They’re conflicted here. Some suggest having blacks in prominent roles is a way of disguising slave-owning history. Others embrace diversity within the casting. Disney thrust this into the spotlight again. It’s a three-way battle all on the left side.

At this point who cares? I hope we build him a black statue in the next few years before people “forget”

It isn’t. The outrage machine spawned by the Cesspool that is Twitter is, however, home to many of the mentally deranged, including Dear Orange Leader.

But Hamilton was white. I thought progressives were opposed to cultural appropriation? Either progressives are ignorant of the fact Hamilton’s white or progressives are hypocrites. Which is it I wonder.

The reason Hamilton is problematic is because of the opening message. Overcoming your personal situation and working hard just isn’t the answer, per the libs.

AARON BURR:
How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore and a
Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten
Spot in the Caribbean by Providence, impoverished, in squalor
Grow up to be a hero and a scholar?

JOHN LAURENS:
The ten-dollar Founding Father without a father
Got a lot farther by workin’ a lot harder
By bein’ a lot smarter
By bein’ a self-starter
By fourteen, they placed him in charge of a trading charter

They didn’t refuse to perform the show for him, which was the allegation. I wasn’t pedantically correcting because it was said they addressed him before the show instead of after. They performed the show. That’s a rather significant fricking detail, wouldn’t you say?

The true point is an uproar happened from whatever the frick went down with pence. The rest is just unimportant fluff
