Halloween Is Not What It Once Was

You’re probably right although we’ve been saying this same thing every year since Halloween’s second year

Subdivision where my cousin lived, we would fill a pillow case jam packed with candy, before we hit the 1/2 point of subdivision.


I bet 1 out of every 10 homes gives out candy now

I do feel like trick or treating is slowly being replaced with that trunk or treat crap. I think what it boils down to is parents don't want to be bothered taking their kids around the neighborhood. It's easier to go to a church parking lot and let the kiddies load up on candy and bring them back home after 30 minutes.

The Church Fall Festival crowd that tells their daughter that Halloween is evil is setting her up for a spread them legs orgy fest in college. Protestants are so short-sighted.

I take my kids tick-or-treating in da hood. It’s a real frightening experience for them. Last year there was a drug addict spazzing out in the middle of the road. I told the kids he was possessed by Satan. Toothless meth whore answers the door? It’s a real ghoul. Kids love it.

I live in a gated community, no “busing in”, and great quality candy.
