Son of Sam believed he was receiving instructions from a dog

Actually had one of those cases about a year back. Spooky sonofabitch. While examining him in the ER he started talking about his dog who hated women and was hungry for a piece of steak. Guy killed his mother and stayed with the corpse for a couple of days before taking out to So. Louisiana.

it's not family law's fault that a glass ceiling and gender pay gap exists

The reason the pay gap exsists is because women take years off to raise kids and it puts them behind in years of experience with their company. A lot of women take 5-10 years off to raise kids. It's a great luxury that every family should try and have and it's a blessing, but when women start back working they are 5-10 business years behind men at their age so their average pay is obviously less based on time off and less experience.

ETA: that's not all encompassing, but it is a large reason why the average pay for men and women is lower.

My ex and I have 50/50 and she pays me $350/month right now. But it's on a year to year basis. If I get a raise or she loses her job, I could end up paying her for a year. We have to submit our W2's every year to determine who pays who and how much. Seems like the only fair way to have it.

do you have to hire the atty. each year to file a motion to be heard, or is this some sort of review board that you submit paperwork to, also is this in CO?

Well today was the day. I spent 9 hrs in court with my ex. I tried to get 7/7 custody. She tried to get me to pay for the new expensive private school I objected too. I lost the custody. She lost the school payment. I have to pay $200 more each month due to inflation basically. One of the hardest days of my life. My 13 y/o had to testify as requested by her mother. Fell like I got kicked in the gut. Dont get divorced. The good guy doesn't win. Hope that settles y'all's argument.

I went to court for the same thing in Baton Rouge and got an extra day every two weeks....from ten to twelve. I lost on private school even though I live in Ascension. My child was molested in my ex's care. Come to find out a couple weeks later, her attorney was the campaign manager for the judge.

Crazy thing is we offered to double the child support from 6-1200 in exchange for 7/7 custody. They turned it down.

Yes this is in CO. We submit the paperwork to the court and they determine who pays who and how much. We never used attorneys from the get go.

This is laughable. It should be this way but isn't
