Well seeing as the precedent has been set that eyes can be drawn away if the NFL continues to frick around, and organizations like opportunity like this… I would say yes, very clearly

1) He has to make good on all the ads that ran close to halftime. Less viewers means he has to run free ads for some time to pay the advertisers back
2) His arse knows that this will be an onging thing. More groups will counter program, because they know they can draw an audience vs the crap the NFL has been force feeding
3) Advertisers will be less likely to run ads for fear of getting the halftime slot = less revenue
4) A decline in revenue for a few years might get Goodell the axe
