The other thread about gypsies reminded me that there is some sort of gypsy, meth head, or carnie encampment behind the Dairy Queen at the Prairieville / Geismar exit.

I have wondered why that eye sore exists. Does anyone know what that is all about?

It’s a trashy trailer park that breaks every code because the owner of the land is in politics.

The land is also worth a fortune.

It is fun to eat a blizzard and watch the fat guy and his mom cook meth at midnight.

The gypsies on pokie road have been a thing for as long as I've been alive. They even got their own taco truck.

I have seen the taco truck and cringe to think what that food would or could do to a human being.

I personally like the grossly off-level campers with Blue tarp roofs and people sitting on the porch the best.

Probably can score a good deal on some used electronics if you go shopping in there one day.

The tacos aren’t bad. Got a few after scarfing down a Beltbuster and a Blizzard one night. Drunk, of course.

Aint nothing wrong with that taco truck.

Remember going to school with a couple of the kids that lived there back in the day. As I got older and realized what it was it made more sense the kids were never there more than a year or so.

That park really fills up when there's a turnaround going on in Geismar.

So for us non trash individuals, is this a legit gypsy camp or just your typical meth trailer park?

I just located this area on Google satellite images. It's trashy even from outer space.

I am 44 and grew up in Dutchtown. It’s been there since as long as I can remember.

I know the owner unless he sold it. He’s not in politics and never has been. He does/did own most of the land between 73 and bluff. Good ol guy. You’d never have a clue he’s freaking loaded if you met him

If you wanna see some meth head shite, look over in the woods to your right on bluebonnet as you approach airline and off in the woods to the right when heading westbound and exiting onto the bluebonnet ramp. If there’s not 50 stolen shopping carts from various stores in the area, there isn’t one. It’s absolutely atrocious

I hear it’s pretty tasty but don’t have the chest to try it.
