Guys with Grandpa's still alive

Does anyone hang around with their grandpa? I would have so liked to spend some time with mine.
I'm one of the younger ones in my family, my dad's dad died when I was 2 and my mom's dad died when I was 5.
I don't remember much except I used to have a little Collie and my mom's dad used to joke with me and call him a fleabag. :)
Always wondered what it would be like to hang with my grandpa now that I am an adult myself.

When I was living in Houston full time, I'd always hang out with my gramps.

I did a lot when I was a kid. I feel bad now, but my grandparents have gotten older and they just want to sit around all day so I don't as much now.

Both of mine died. One when I was 15. The other when I was in college.

Have one left alive. He's 95 and a WWII veteran. Unfortunately live two states away, but visit him every time I go back to LA.

Just feel like it would be so cool to do it. Some guys don't know how lucky they are. I mean I basically grew up without one.

Both of mine are dead. One abandoned his daughter and can rot in hell, the other was pretty awful too.

Both of mine were dead by the time I was 11

My Mother's Dad died of Lung Cancer when I was a baby. I have no memory of him.
My Grandpa on my Father's side. Is a retired Airforce Mechanic. He now just works in his woodshop building things, reading, and cutting lawns. He is the most impressive 80+ year old person I have ever met. His doctors even compliment him on his health and mental state. My Grandma passing is literally the only thing I fear in regards to his health and mental state as it is quite obvious she will definitely go first if due to natural causes. I don't see him as much as I would like to living literally on the other side of the country but every visit with him is a personal joy and something that always leaves me with a sense of enrichment due to his life lessons and wisdom.

Still go visit the one that's alive in texas once or twice a year. Technically not my biological grandpa (dad's father died when he was like 8), but never made a difference growing up. He's got so many war stories, part of the greatest generation

Never really had a grandpa
Wish I could have met my moms dad but he was gone before I was born.

All 4 of mine are dead. 3 were living when I was born. By my mid 20s they all died.

My Mom is 95, so they are both gone obviously.
Only met my Mom's dad and he was dying of cancer, but could
still do card and coin tricks that would keep my 8 y/o azz planted
on the side of his bed.
Good man.

I stay with mine and we hang out daily. I brought him to a country gospel Opry last night in McComb. My grandmother recently passaway and I was out of town and I regret not being near. I really enjoy hanging out with my grandpa though. He and my grandmother raised me and I'm pretty much just like him so we get along really well.

I see my grandparents at least 4 days a week. Hell, I see my grandparents more than I see most people
