My beard wasn't even long. I would consider it stubble. I cant count the number of times my stubble got caught in my jacket zipper. And I was always scratching my face. How do you put up with a beard?

What are you talking about? You don't have a beard.

Try not growing a beard on your neck. It looks bad like that anyway. Also, the itchy phase goes away after the beard reaches a certain length, then keep it at that length or longer.

Doesn't bother me at all. I am even a swimmer and when I first grew it I was worried it would bug me or slow me down. I'm already slow but I don't even notice it while swimming.

I feel the exact same way...... and my beard gets caught in my jacket zipper too, hurts like a mofo!!!!
Both my pea coat and snow jacket catch my beard, shits annoying. I just do my best to avoid it growing too much for all the reasons u mentioned.

It's pretty itchy when it's growing in. After that it's fine.

I haven't shaved in probably 10 years. I just trim it with clippers and keep a permanent 5 o'clock shadow

Shave your neck man. There should be a space between your beard and your Adam's Apple
