Just purchased a life insurance policy worth 200,000. 100 to the wife. 50 to each child provided they are 18. Still owe 81000 on the house so I hope to have it paid off prior or the wife won't have shite left after getting rid of my corpse and paying off the house.

Just seeing this, and while it's totally possible he's a moron, this math doesn't add up. He has three kids so 100 to wife and 50 to each kid would be 250k total.

This is Eric Zappe, the individual who donated $1,500. Thanks goes out to all the folks who have been monitoring the threads and summarizing for the rest of us.

Just to let you guys know - I'm not requesting a refund from the gofundme site. I will simply pray that the aunt is reimbursed from the donations and that CD finally gets the help he needs. Most importantly, the children are taken care of. There have been some harsh words expressed by those who felt taken advantage of and I can understand. When you give to others though - you simply have to take a risk and pray the funds are used wisely. Merry Christmas to all...especially the fine Louisiana folks who have supported Zapp's Chips through the decades and helped rescue me when my house flooded in Harvey...

I think the oldest May not have been his — he talked about being together for 17 years.

(Thread hijack)Hey, bring back the creole tomato flavor and make the honey flavor easier to find.

And at least one bag of your chips is bought every grocery trip. The no salt is my current go to.

(End hijack)

I donated, but not nearly as much. I try to think if the spirit of the donation, not the actual end use.

You wrote a whole essay just to say that. Nobody gives 2 shits whether you donate or not.

That was my first thought when I saw his post. I should have scrolled down. Yes this flavor is missed. Mr. Zappe.

A potato chip with no salt?

What kind of blasphemy is this?

I'm pretty sure Zapp's got bought out by some larger company, years ago. So I don't think Zapp's guy has much say so anymore.

Love me some Crawtators
