wow. this is truly amazing. shows no matter how bad things are when it really matters people in general are still good. i hope when CD sees this it at least lets him focus on his family and himself and takes away all the financial worry.

Getting a little misty eyed myself. This thread has hit me in the feels. CD needs this help it seems, hope he is able to give his sweetheart wife the funeral she deserves and minister to his kids with these funds.

I was not surprised at all when I clicked the link that these fine Americans had come together to pitch in and had already exceeded the basic ask.

You aren't a broken man. You can get through this. You have to get through this. Your wife didn't choose this time to pass. She wouldn't want you to abandon the children. Get strong, find strength and stay strong !

I know my words seem harsh, sometimes tough love is the only thing that can save everything.

I can't imagine what you're going through. I know the money won't bring you peace, but hopefully it'll allow you to focus on the important things.

I'm proud of the good people of TD for coming through.

You have my thoughts and prayers.

Man, this was unexpected. Not really much to be said. I cannot fathom the loss you are feeling right now. You've had a tough year already, that much I know from your bout with COVID. I'm so terribly sorry for what's happening, but please do not lose hope. There's not always a good answer for why things happen as they do, but as others have already said....you are all your kids have right now. You may be the only consistent thing in their lives for a long time. Please do not consider taking that away from them. The path forward will not be easy. No one will tell you otherwise. But have faith and don't be afraid or ashamed to ask for help. If you were near me, I would gladly donate our plots to you. Perhaps there is someone else here who may have that as an option. Keep your head up and stay busy. Take care of Y'ALL's kids. They are the closest thing you have to her in this world now.

Prayers for you and I will see what I can do for your GoFundMe. Godspeed, brother.

God bless you man...what a tough time for this to happen.. This place can be a little middle schoolish at times, but if you need help these folks are pretty awesome. Hopefully you have enough for your kids to have a Christmas. I've shared this with a few other folks to help.
