Close. The land was actually cheaper in NOLA. Was going to use the land between Michoud Blvd and Irish Bayou. Remediation costs would have been about the same as the land in Orlando is mostly swamp as well.
However, the costs in NOLA were driven much higher by all the politicians looking for kickbacks. Walt basically told them to go screw themselves.
