He thinks he was drumming up support for himself and his organization. But, he actually succeeded in the opposite. The people who don't respect the flag in his way are less likely to do so now that he's thrown his little fit. What an embarrassment.

You'd think an Army guy would know the correct term as "half staff," since "half mast" is only on a Navy base or vessel.

Before I saw the video I was tempted to side with the guy because why not fly it at half mast. I would guess most of those workers don't give a damn about the flag anyway.

Well regardless of how most of you feel.. That guy succeeded.. I did see that they called for a boycott of that McD's and it was a pretty empty all weekend long.
