I didn't read through 6-7 pages of people threatening each other, name calling, & claiming to be more intelligent than the other, so I don't know if it's been asked & answered, and I also didn't make it through the 20 minute video which apparently isn't very enlightening either, but does anyone know why McDonald's chose not to lower the flag to half staff? Just wondering since most every other business, school, & governmental buildings have done so.

Owner just dropped the ball and didn't tell anybody. Simple mistake; it happens.
I heard the news but I never heard any word about lowering the flags because I wasn't looking for it.

I guess. It just seems that the owner should have been more observant considering most other establishments' flags were lowered. However, I do think the gentleman with the complaint handled it horribly.

I don't know. We've noticed more lowered than not since yesterday. Maybe everyone will be on the same page tomorrow.
Eta - I would be interested to know if the owner was contacted during all of this by the "manager" on duty. He/she absolutely should have been.
