Millennials always get a bad rap but it is really the generations after them that are the entitled ones.
The oldest millennials are also pushing 40, but the OT thinks that anyone under the age of 22 is a millennial.

More power to him. The best way to move on from the socialist utopia BS is for everybody to jump on the taking side and drive it bankrupt in a hurry so we can start over. Unfortunately there’s a lot of pain between here and there, but those are the choices the marxists have made.

From what I've read, the hospitality industry in particular was having a hard time hiring even before the pandemic and even before any expanded unemployment.
Maybe people just don't want shite jobs.

Stop reading leftist propaganda sites. They will make bullshite excuses for everything and lie in the process.
These aren't "shite" jobs. Waiting tables and working at hotels are great jobs to get experience and earn some money while getting an education when you are younger.
They aren't career jobs but they aren't "shite" jobs either.
But let me guess you think everyone deserves to be a CEO?

sounds like you expect a massive industry of people to work without having a career

What?
Not everyone's 1st job is their career nor should it be.
I don't get your point, it's stupid.

That's not the point. It was a rhetorical question but it figures you would focus and reply to the margin.
I was making a point about jobs in the service industry are not shitty jobs and are a great starter and fill-gap for younger people getting started in the work force.
But you ignore the point and focus on the fluff. Typical.

I was told by the CNN of the OT, the Spleen that unemployment issues are largely fake news.

It’s been a perfect storm to help the lazy and hurt the business owners
In addition to the extra unemployment $$$, you have the stimulus payments, the tax refunds( EIC for all the low earning single moms), eviction moratorium, and other hand outs.
And for you nimrods just saying pay more, the private sector isn’t a government agency. They have to make a profit
