And Democrats refuse to acknowledge this is happening.

Millennials got their dream scenario. The can sit home with their worthless art degrees doodle on notebooks and show their parents and get paid for being lazy and worthless shitty people.

Welcome to everywhere, imagine figuring out you can get more money sitting at home than service work.

The democrat talking points were in full force yesterday on every news outlet. The excuse is that people are still scared to go to work. We absolutely live in a clown world right now.

They up the pay, someone will take it. A guaranteed minimum pay rate has been a long time coming for servers. Government shouldn't mandate it, but the industry should give stability to the literal faces of their business.

Or just phase them out and have people order from the POS themselves.

as on the coast this weekend. Everywhere we went - the resort, restaurants, retail, etc, all were well, well shorthanded. All had multiple signs saying they were hiring, offering bonuses for new hires, increased hourly wages, etc.
It was absolutely impacting the level of service they could offer.
And it's only early May. It's going to get worse as tourism picks up this summer.
I know some people think our society can just let everyone stay home and collect a basic income check, but we aren't there yet. Either the government needs to end this experiment, or automation is about to skyrocket.
Destin is the same everyone looking for workers. If your a college kid out for the summer you can make really good money waiting tables this summer.

That latest jobs report was pretty disastrous. There were fewer jobs created than expected, high UE claims, and high rates of unfilled jobs all at the same time

Even if it's equal to or slightly less, there's still no reason for them to go back to work.

I’m a Millennial with a STEM degree and was never unemployed at any moment during the pandemic.
Where did I go wrong?

Don’t this is exclusive to the MS coast
It’s nationwide. People don’t want to work anymore.
From what I've read, the hospitality industry in particular was having a hard time hiring even before the pandemic and even before any expanded unemployment.
Maybe people just don't want shite jobs.

Millennials always get a bad rap but it is really the generations after them that are the entitled ones.

These bailouts are liberal teaser programs to ease people into the socialist mindset.
