I normally would agree but the majority of this board considers a Magellan shirt and cowboy boots as dressed up

I've seen several mentions of folks having comfortable dress shoes. That's not my experience so what are you wearing?

I'll admit needing a EE limits options sometimes but I need something that doesn't hurt my feet and I may be standing or walking 2 hours in an 8 hour day.

The end started when suits without a tie became popular.

Suites without a tie is fine.

A tie without a jacket... middle school dance level bad.

Who could find anything wrong with comfortable shoes, especially if someone has foot problems? Tell me why?

Dave Dixon was doing this the last time I saw him. He had on a suit with plain black Reeboks.

I think dress shoes probably just killed his aching back or something. He was easily 80 years old at the time.

The question is why are you checking out and assessing other men?

I didn’t say I don’t own a suit.

But no, I don’t go to weddings.

I will say, it’s very common to see people who walk or use public transportation to commute to/from work to wear tennis shoes with a suit, or seeing women in work clothes and tennis shoes. Then you change into your dress shoes once you get to the office. I don’t see a problem with that at all.

My dress shoes are as comfortable as tennis shoes

People should only wear what I want them to wear.
