re: Johnson & Johnson 1 shot vaccine shows 66% efficacy, 85% v severe disease
Posted by Bsquared24 on 1/29/21 at 9:36 am
The JNJ numbers are from a study of 45,000. The earlier vaccine studies were off of like 900 people, the earlier "success rates" are complete speculation....
re: Grown men wearing running shoes with a suit

I've seen several mentions of folks having comfortable dress shoes. That's not my experience so what are you wearing?
I'll admit needing a EE limits options sometimes but I need something that doesn't hurt my feet and I may be standing or walking 2 hours in an 8 hour day....
re: What would the OT do? Neighbors dog has fleas and they neglect it.

rented... start with that. Contact your neighbor the owner about how his tenants are infesting the house with fleas and you've even tries to help him out. Not great solutions out there but that might help....
re: Which did you get, 4x2 or 4x4 truck? Any regrets?
Posted by Bsquared24 on 11/26/20 at 10:34 am
I had the same decision 6 weeks ago, didn't think I would ever use 4x4. Since then I've already used it twice, once on the property after Zeta took down some trees and a second time to pull out a stuck 4x2 truck on a muddy boat ramp.
So glad I went with 4x4....
re: Has your non pit bull dog ever snapped at your kid?
Posted by Bsquared24 on 11/26/20 at 10:16 am
I had my cocker spaniel bite me once when I was moving its food. Bassit hound bit my kid once but he was mostly blind and that was food related as well. To me the difference is neither of those dogs can kill you like a pit....

re: Is the juice worth the squeeze?

I'm in same scenario, can hit a driver to the Starbucks on Harrison. My wife and I are planning to sell and leave in 10 years when the youngest graduates HS. Can double down on downsizing and getting put of the Chocolate City. IMO not bad enough to have to escape immediately....
re: Fastest speed you have drivin as a driver

at 17 I hit the governor on my 1997 Chevy Cavalier and thought I blew the motor. Speedometer touched 115 twice but Im not sure if thats valid.
In reflection it was dumb....
re: Any Car Salesman Out There?

A more specific question... when is the best time to find a deal for a patient buyer? Black Friday, end of December, something else?
Thinking about a 2020 once the 2021s are out....

re: Animal Populations Have Been In Decline Nearly 70% In Past 50 Years

Even the WWF numbers say North America is now stable. Its the rest of the world that is causing this issue; take it up with them and stop saying we have to change here...
