I quite liked the flask I got for one wedding. It was really nice, and monogrammed. Didn't mention the wedding. it has since broke.

I don't recall any other gifts I received for weddings. I am sure I got something but that is the only one I remember.

eta: If I had to do something like that, I would get them a nice bottle of liquor.

I have.. I think 3 engraved flask...

I think I have a shot glass from another one maybe a champaign glass, but if I had to pick from all the usual gifts, to get multiple of, it would be a pocket knife. You can never have too many knives.

But I am just thinking of a few things men use that could be something different.
- Wallet
- A nice travel bag (the ones that are smaller than your standard back pack)
- Engraved Tape Measure
- A good deck of cards. Like a deck of Bicycle that can be engraved along with a good pair of dice.
- Flash lights.. So they can regift it and use it as a white elephant gift during Christmas.
- Or.. My favorite gift to get anytime. Cash.

Very true...but I've had buddies...one of which was a groomsmen have had their flask bend and form leaks over time.... at least I made it to where they just got a nice flask to maybe use eventually with their initials on it. My biggest pet peeve is the groomsmens gifts I have..like an engraved mug...with his name and wedding date on it. Never gonna use that..don't do that shite

Got an ice chest full of beer for one. Drank the beer and used the ice chest until it finally broke on me years later.

I got an engraved bottle opener from one which was pretty awesome.

Agreed. Don't put the date on it.

I have received 3 flasks with my initials on them... Never used them.

I have received a box of cigars and a bottle of whiskey. That was a good gift that doesn't last.

The best gift I've ever received was a beach towel though. It was different and still gets used today.

One of my best friends did dress socks w/ my dog's face on them. That would mean everyone needs a pet of some sort though.

I gave mine a case of Cohibas and unique cuff links. Best one I think I got was a nice, customized poker set.

I’ve been a groomsman several times.

Grill fork with thermometer. Liked it alright, pretty cool. Never really used it though.

Sterling silver engraved money clip. Awesome. Cool. Use it all the time.

Engraved wooden jewelry/stationery box. Like it, put stuff in it and keep on dresser.

A couple grooms were broke arse or cheap and gave no gifts.

Nice cigar. It was quality. Smoked it and enjoyed it.

Although most people have their music on their phones, it would still be cool to receive one. How about ipods? I received one years ago for a safety award, with my name engraved on it. It was like the first ipods that ever came out. It didn't even have a screen on it. It was a white stick, pretty much a flash drive. This was... 2006, 2007.. And at the time I was pumped to get it.

Not being asked to be a groomsman is the greatest gift of all.
But if forced to be in your wedding I don't care about my initials being engraved
good ice chest
A nice chef's knife
good bourbon/scotch
