How about the groom / bride party pay for the huge costs of being in the wedding party. Oops, I am sorry, all of this is necessary for bride and groom and certain relatives to enjoy this special day.

I got my groomsmen personalized acrylic duck calls for those that duck hunted... and the two that turkey hunted go personalized box calls.

I got my groomsmen a nice spatula and tong set for grilling. On the spatula I had their favorite team engraved on it. Whether that was a high school, college, or professional club.

We wore suits, not rented tuxes. I bought their suits which were something you can wear to work or other nice events.

Yeah because I want to wear some $99 special suit you bought at jos a banks that will fall apart the 5th time I wear it to work.

Brooks Brothers and I bought the tie too. If you don't own a white button up shirt, then I'm not sure what to say. The shoes were whatever you felt like.

I have a ton but last wedding I was in I had to buy a cream colored button up.
