Soft cooler with my last name embroidered on them. I've gotten 2 and out of all the groomsmen gifts I've gotten they're the only ones I still have and use.

I got a very expensive money clip that I use from time to time. I got a very nice cigar lighter and cutter set that I keep out and use on the seldom times I smoke cigars. I like both of them and have kept them for years, cant say the same for flasks and cups

FWIW...I did the flask thing since I found that to be way more useful than most groomsmen gifts, but found a way to make it less cheesy. I got them flasks that were wrapped in letter and the only thing on the actual flask was their initials...they came in a set with 2 steel shot glasses and a flask funnel that came in a leather box that had the date of the wedding and their title. That way it commemorates the day and their role in it, but they don't have a flask with cheesy shite about another dude's wedding on it....they seemed to be a hit

Penn International 50wide offshore reels.

I actually only got that for my best man as he let me stay with him for a while when I first started working and travelled too much to get my own place.

The rest got dress shoes to go with the suits and ties.

My finalists were bourbon+

Leather pistol case/wraps
Filson wallets
Tumi bags

But honestly I think they liked the ties we had made (I bought) and having their attire taken care of by us more than the actual groomsman gifts. Just make it easier on them to participate and they'll probably be pretty pleased with that.

Idk, I don't hate a flask as a gift, but it's been my experience that a guy who needs a flask probably already has one. I've got one or two that were only used the day of the wedding.

I would have stood in your wedding under these conditions. Well done.
