I love to grill pork steaks, chicken breast wrapped in bacon topped with jalapenos, sausage for poboys, burgers, fish on the scale (or whatever you call it -- husband usually does that but I do the rest) ... so many options.

Veggies cut and wrapped in foil, corn on the cob, whole potatoes ...

Just remember: nothing sets off the flavor of a steak like some ketchup

First you need to get a nice mayo crust seared on to it. The ketchup and mayo really balance each other out.

Just depends upon what you're shooting for.

My favorite is Big Axis.

But if we're strictly talking beef, pork or chicken and you've yet to develop your searing and smoking skills start with something easy like maybe a flat steak or NY strip or t-bone. Learn to sear and then control the fat fire .... get the heat down and smoke it up a bit, raise the meat if necessary.

Next would be a tenderloin imho, beef ..... or cut it up into fillets and wrap them in bacon and watercress or water chestnuts.

A ribeye is definitely the best, but since you have to even ask this question....you should probably start with some $1 hotdogs and work your way up from there
