And it does not go how they thought it would…

Kid starts to play Wonderwall by Oasis.I have not seen if the kid did it intentionally but it’s awesome. This is the best thing I have seen all year. Cherry on top is Liam Gallagher commenting on the video on Twitter (I checked and it’s his real account and it’s still up on Twitter).

Surprised Liam didn't tell the Oasis fan to get fricked.

Liam is a cùnt but that’s funny.

Everything statement about Liam should begin with “Liam is a cùnt but…”

Or find a some way to twist the occurrence into another insult to his brother Noel.

Green Day’s biggest hit ripped off Wonderwall and the fan was trolling

American Idiot? Basket Case? Boulevard?

In all seriousness if we're going to start claiming songs sounding similar means they're rip offs then you're going to need to start naming off some pretty legendary bands and artists

The thread is specifically about Green Day and Oasis, so wtf are you talking about?

FAKE

A setup to make the people think it’s some kind of organic wonderful special moment they were lucky to be a part of and wasn’t it so worth it to pay $200 a ticket for this experience? Would do it again!

That's awesome.

And both Liam and Billy Joe are insufferable assholes.

Green Day is a great band, though.

Maybe it is now, but when they played State Palace Theater in 1998 they pulled my friend and he was not compensated.

Green Day’s politics are abhorrent to me. I don’t voluntarily listen to them anymore.

Agreed on their politics but the same could be said for a lot of musical acts.

Not listening just because you differ politically is a miserable way to go about life. And frankly, that's what's wrong with this country now. We just can't agree to disagree anymore but instead "boycott" things we differ on.

It's sad.

Boulevard recently played on a classic rock station and it made me feel old because I remember that song coming out in 2004.

I like the song but just don’t consider it classic rock

How are those songs even remotely similar other than the use of an acoustic?
