Greater Baton Rouge, Acadiana and NE Louisiana regions are holding Louisiana back

Nola had the earliest outbreak in the state. It would make sense they are recovering first.

the rest of the state should have prepared themselves. Of course the most populated and dense area of the state would have been effected first and the most...that's how you set a precedent.

I’d like to see acadiana numbers. My parish has 35 cases — the nursing home where I work in another parish has either 48 or 49 positives. (Yeah I know but we were three weeks without anyone coming in who wasn’t working — not sure what could have been done differently).

There is NOTHING that can be done about this
A nursing home cannot test every staff member, send home those that are positive & force everyone else to move in
It would be much worse without all the precautions they are taking but there is no way to completely stop it
