He said those new patrols will focus specifically on areas their crime analysts have found to be "hot spots" for violence. However, Paul said the agency has not increased their number of homicide detectives

The only killing where police have arrested the perpetrator was in the death of kindergartner Jaheim Holliday.

He might want to rethink those detectives

Immediately? Nothing. It will take at least 1-2 generations of rebuilding the nuclear family unit to affect change. So, looks like murder on the books in BR for the next 25'ish years.

You are optimistic. Children born into single parent homes has risen dramatically in the past 30-40 years. What signs do you see of that turning around?

That would be a start, but it's not happening with the facet of society that is committing the majority of violent crimes. Sad to say, the options are to get used to it or move out.

Can we borrow Daredevil, or Batman for a few months?

Well, it should probably be Luke Cage to satisfy Gravy.

Why stop it? It’s the bad guys killing bad guys. It’s not like innocent tourist are being shot. Saving millions in tax payer dollars in attorney fees, police resources and jail time.

Fixing street lights and removing old cars didn't do it?

Put unemployed leeches like Gravy and Kibbles into citizen on patrol programs or make them cops. All they do is complain about employed people anyway. Let them see what working and not protesting and staying on social media is all about.

Let Kibbles go community policing on Gus Young. Or North 34th or 1000 block of Florida. Or Harding and Plank. I am sure she would have no fears.

The Roving Sniper program would surely help. Take a few police snipers and put them in different places every night. When they see violence, they head splat the person that started it.

It should grow the community's desire to stay home and spend time with their families instead of going out wilding.

Please keep quiet until November 28. We don't need you handing a Senate seat to the Dims.

On a serious note. Killings usually go up in the summer, but this killing streak has been these past few days, which has been the coldest days this Fall.

Just coming up on the Christmas killing season in Baton Rouge.
