What's some sure ways to get the smoke smell out of this thing if I decide to buy it?

Dude. It's a gift for your son. Let him figure it out.

Let him breathe it in. It'll put some hair on his chest

just get the upholstery cleaned. including the lining on the roof.

then just let it air out with the windows down every chance you get. all day every day.

Depends on how good a deal it is. In High School, my buddies dad bought a 6 month old 280Z that a guy had committed suicide in IN JULY in Louisiana. They didn't find the body for four days. He gutted the interior, sandblasted and repainted it before installing new interior. But he got the car for $500. That kind of deal?

You will have a hard time then. If it is light it will dissipate over time. Heavy will take a lot of cleanings and time and you will still catch remnants of it here and there.

Clean the inside with vinegar. Put a few boxes of baking soda in it for a few days. Get a tree for your car, so your car wont smell.. That's what the Beastie Boys said.

It's a 2006 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with 86,000 miles for $7000. Blue book is showing $12,500.

No way to ever get it out, completely. I would definitely use it to lower the negotiated price if you go that way.

You can try vinegar, orange peels, baking soda to reduce it to faint levels, but I can sit in any car and tell if it has ever been smoked in.

I would buy it and spend a couple hundred on getting it cleaned and do all of the little tricks I could and deal with whats left. That is too good of a deal to pass up for a smell.

Why not buy it for $7,000 then trade it in for a $12,500 vehicle?

Somewhere there's a car Paige is familiar with that had smoked trouser trout in it.
