It’s gerrymandered to have a minority-majority seat, which is something that was required through the latest redrawing of seats in this state.
I’d rather the seats be drawn so that the GOP had a legit shot at all of them instead of having a set-aside that will never vote GOP, but the Gravys of the world will whine about having a district where a black candidate isn’t the only viable choice.

The answer to gerrymandering is to gerrymander a District so it includes two cities that are nothing alike and are 70 miles apart.
