Exactly. And to be fair it is gerrymandered that way to only have 1 democratic seat in the house

It was drawn that way to protect the 2nd’s majority black status after people moved around b/c of Katrina. As federally mandated by VRA.

Well being that probably 50% or more of that district are non productive leaches of society, 21% is great. I thought those dumbasses would have voted for him more.

Why does D5 (Monroe) go down to Kentwood?

WTF does D4 (Shreveport) go all the way down to Cajun country? Eunice and Ville Platte are in the same CD as Springhill, but not Lafayette.

this is all because we lost a seat before the 2012 election

that's when Jeff Landry had to run against Charles Boustany bc Landry effectively lost his geography

that was before the 2011 redistricting b/c we lost a seat after the 2010 Census. makes a lot more geographic sense

odds are we lose another seat in 2030, which will make things insane

Here is a question for the OT - who here could pull 21% in your district (for any offices that are in existence from the most local to the largest)? Who could out-poll Gravy's mark if you were operating on your own turf?

Chambers will be running for office again, he has found his niche, and as long as people donate he won't have to work

Just needs to start funneling money to his family and friends and his evolution will be complete.
