I think he’s probably just happy to finally be able to afford paying the $50/month to AT&T for internet service. Now he won’t have to record his FB screeds in his stepmomma’s driveway because he’s stealing the neighbors’ WiFi.

I’m stunned he even got 1,200 votes.

As people continue to tell him what to say and he gets more acclimated he will do better. A coworker of mine thinks he is a voice for the black community and the only one willing to stand up to the "good old boy" system in Louisiana.

Easy BR Metro Council will be his best next shot. That he could win when time comes.

What is a real issue here is that if the LA GOP party was able to have just one viable candidate in this race they would have had a much better chance of making the runoff.

Here is a question for the OT - who here could pull 21% in your district (for any offices that are in existence from the most local to the largest)? Who could out-poll Gravy's mark if you were operating on your own turf?

give me money to print some brochures and signs and I’ll definitely get 21% for a St Bernard parish council or school board seat

If I was Shreveport or Monroe, I’d be pissed that Lafayette, BR, and NOLA each have “two” or “three” congresspersons. It’s a way to maximize clout
In terms of MSA, New Orleans is 3× as big as Shreveport and 7× as big as Monroe.

BR is 2× and 4×, respectively.

Lafayette is only slightly larger than Shreveport but still over twice as big as Monroe.

the 2 biggest white guilt stricken people I know voted for Gracy, no surprise. I wonder if they ever did research on his background, experience, and platform. I doubt it
