Imagine having to live like this. Just buy what you need and go home. That's how the rest of us do it, and I've lived my entire life without being disrespected by a cashier.

Let's deport Gravy and the cashier for good measure.

The OT could do the anti-Gravy effect and go give this business a bunch of 5 Star Reviews on Google for not taking attitude from him.

The reason the “black community” is the way it is because people like him will defend shitty behavior no matter what.

There’s a 1000% chance none of this happened the way he described

Respect is the minimum. Especially when people spending their hard earned money. I have options, everybody in this area doesn’t. They will be respected.

Someone needs to explain to him that this isn’t how it works. Respect isn’t the minimum…respect is an earned, two-way street. If you don’t give it, you won’t get it in return. Saying something stupid like “respect is the minimum” is a completely entitled stance and a major part of the problem with dumb shite like this.

It’s lazy and entitled. But I guess with GC that’s to be expected.

Believe it or not the altercation started because the cashier disrespected a black man by putting his change on the counter rather than putting the change in the customer’s hand.

If that's true (and I have no reason to doubt you), then Gravy went in there with a chip on his shoulder. Which should surprise no one.

Imagine being so mentally fragile as to be offended by something that trivial.

We should ask AI to rewrite Gravy's rather self-serving missive with the rewrite assuming the author had a racial agenda.

What a dumb arse, what does paying taxes and retail options have to do with each other.... Tell your community to stop stealing and maybe you'll have better retail options.

He’s got such a distorted view of reality.

He doesn’t understand that paying taxes has absolutely not hing to do with quality of private businesses.

I don’t know if it’s true or not. It’s what Gravy Chamber said in the video on his Facebook.

The craziest thing to me is I can’t remember ever giving a shite where the cashier placed my change when I went to a convenience store and paid with cash.

I’ve had both white, but mostly black cashiers, put my change down and don’t even acknowledge me standing there with a thank you, beat it, gtho, etc. so, it is what it is.

That's just it. No RATIONAL person does give a shite. You just take your change and leave.

It's absolutely insane that a large segment of society care about "muh respect" from complete strangers. I really don't give a damn if a random stranger "disrespects" me as long as nothing physical or physically threatening is happening.

Exactly. Move along and live your life.

Fixed it:

The police were called on me last night because I mouthed off to a cashier at the Express Mini Mart on Mickens Road.

I’ve been going to this store for years, like many people in this neighborhood. We get welfare, don't pay taxes, and commit crime, so the quality of retail options in our communities is limited.

I address issues head-on. Allowing a younger cashier to disrespect a young Black (yea, I capitalized it) man for being a smart arse and busting a sag in this neighborhood can escalate in dangerous ways because there are lot of drug slinging gangstahs. Once I arbitrarily decided that the back-and-forth went too far, I asked them to call the owner.

I loudly and hysterically tried to explain the situation to the deputy, who was clearly wondering "why is this fatass involved in this?"

Anyone who knows me knows I make up issues where none exist.. I won't shut the frick up because someone calls the police. I wasn’t breaking the law — I was just butting into to something that was none of my business.

"End of the year or beginning of the year. Day or night." I’m consistently using shitty punctuation because I'm largely uneducated.

I bet he didn’t expect me to still be annoying his boss today over an unimportant issue that the boss really doesn't give a shite about.

Respect is the minimum even if the respect is not earned. Especially when people spending their government free money. I delusionally think I'm important and have options
