That just sounds like an awful place to be.

Hypothetical question. Lets say they were firing at my house, would I be in my rights to fire back? I know the general rule is that they have to be in your home.

Black guns matter, and lots of bullets!

Is the guy closest to the garage shooting an AK pistol?

Even police serve warrants and knock down the door at the wrong house from time to time. People in houses on both sides are lucky. That was some firepower there.

It really sucks for the innocent neighbors who are now worried about this shite happening again even though it is very unlikely. Terrible if there are kids on that street that are now scared to death in their own home.

Awful situation for innocent people around there.

This is what I tell myself. Treat everyone with respect so you never have to worry about someone going insane on you and your family.

Still need to have a backup plan and means to defend your family with equal or greater force.

I don’t believe most of those guns were purchased legally.

So you would shoot out of your house and directly at your neighbor's house?

North Sherwood. If this would have happened in 1983, I'd have been concerned. This neighborhood has been in the drive-by demo for quite some time.

I mean, it's sad but I'm quite sure "nobody saw nothing" is already in full effect. So.. good luck.

I would say yes. They are using lethal force to penetrate your protective fortress.

You will probably shoot more accurately, so you can avoid collateral damage to neighbors.

That rule applies if they're breaking into your home.

His life was in danger. Castle doctrine doesn't relate. Shoot their azz, but make sure you don't send any flying to your neighbor's house.

Yes. That's right off North Sherwood on Catalina going into the back of Monticello.

How one of the shooters did shoot another one in that disaster I have no idea.

Different layers of shooters all shooting in the same direction with minimal distances from each other and not one got clipped by another.

The guy on the right was firing a Draco AK-47, and that was definitely a full auto firearm at the end.

Excellent point. That neighborhood is probably very strict on HOA enforcement.
