100 block of Royal is between Canal and Iberville. Hell you got 1000’s upon 1000’s of people walking right there everyday.

Ideally, this should obviously not be the case. The city leaders and residents should be embarrassed. Problem is: the people in charge will do whatever they can to justify this. “Something something social inequity something something covid.”
It WILL be swept under the rug. No doubts there.
It’s pathetic that the FQ is such a shithole. It’s sad that such an historic and culturally vibrant city isn’t worth the risk to visit.

That's what happens when you make it a "gun free" zone, and law abiding citizens aren't allowed to conceal carry and defend themselves from the the people that are going to break the law anyway.
