quote:“Adults” chronologically maybe.
About a third of American adults have tattoos—that’s at least 80 million people.

Tattoos are more cringe than ever. I have never understood why anyone would nasty up their skin for idiotic things like superman tattoos or Harry Potter/Disney characters. Millennials are cringe af.

Scars > tattoos, especially when there's a story behind them.

I knew we were in trouble when the regular women started saying tattoos were “cute.”

When folks with a lot of melanin in their skin decide to get tats removed, is there enough melanin left so that they don't become blotchy?

I’ve had 4 laser treatments to remove a sweet tribal tattoo I got in 2001 when I was a teen. If I could go back in time I’d kick my own arse. Let me tell you, the pain is unreal compared to the initial application of the tattoo. I have a high pain tolerance and my palms start sweating when they close to finishing the treatment.

they often close their eyes in fear. Without actually watching the removal process, the mind takes all the other sensory cues—mainly that awful sound—and conjures an image of some horrific mutilation occurring. It feels, and sounds, as if your body is a stretch of New York City sidewalk being torn into by a torch, electrical sparks flying every which way.
WTF is this fart sniffing BS?

I joined an upscale gym and am shocked to be one of the few women without tattoos.

Tattooing is an act of fashion slavery and conformity.
