In high school my sister was two years ahead of me. She wrote two different papers for two different classes as a senior. She was a straight A student. I made A's & B's without trying so I never tried until graduate school.

My senior year I re-wrote the papers and turned them in. One teacher, female, didn't like me. Same paper she gave my sister an A on she gave me a B-. Other teacher, male, liked me. He gave me an A two points higher than my sister's A.

Graduation night I told the female teacher what I had done and told her she wasn't a very good teacher. She was shocked bc she thought I was gonna kiss her butt "Oh thank you gonna miss you etc". When she regained her composure she said. I should have given you an F!

Do you want a round of applause on things most of us were doing in the 5th grade?

Me judging a history major for not knowing on which side Russia fought on is like me judging an engineering major who designed a bridge that almost immediately collapses.

Not sure it's cheating bc everyone did it and professors knew and library had them. But in graduate school I never saw as many old tests floating around in my life!

They were still going to attack the Serbs. There still would have been WWI provided Gavrilo Princip was at that cafe when the Archduke just happened to be a sitting duck. Their relationship to Bulgaria isn't nearly as relevant as the Russians relations to the Serbs, at least from the outset.

EDIT: Thought this was the case, but double checked: The Bulgarians sat out the first fricking year of the Great War. Seriously, what retard school do go to?

Me judging a history major
I'm a physical education major who plans to test out to teach history. Read better next time. And if your writing 4 page typed papers with correct citation in 5th grade you are a bad motherfricker. Kudos. Also you seem to know a good bit about history so I'll give you a few softball questions. What was the name of the imperial dynasty of Japan, and what was the name of the shogunate that ruled Japan from the 1600s to 1800s? What was the rebellion that occurred in China at the turn of the century and how did it get its name. What were the Indian tribes that fought with the Britain's and which fought with the French in the French and Indian war.

it doesn't matter that they sat out. If the Bulgarians don't have the beef with the Serbs or if the Hungarians aren't alied with the Bulgarians then the black hand has no reason to target the heir to the austro Hungarians throne.

Ha!!! History doesn't work that way. You can't just make up a bunch of questions and then decide the answer. You have to do history first.

Ask that chick who wrote your paper, she'll tell you how professionals do history.

what are you talking about? The questions I asked him have factual answers to them and they're all pretty easy

But they're only factual in the very narrowly defined terms that you asked them. History doesn't exist in a vacuum and neither should your understanding of it.

So considering that, answer my question.

This whole thing started by him asking a specific question. Who was a part of the triple alliance which I answered. I just decided to ask my own questions now.

Yeah that seems like a lot to digest. My two suggestions:

1. Write your own papers, plagiarism is lazy and easily avoidable.

2. Keep your racism to yourself. That kinda hate should stay with you, we don't need or want to bare your burden of hate.

Good luck in life, bigot.

So, what you're saying is screw:

- panslavism
- nationalism
- the conservative response to liberalism during the 19th century and the whole balance of power idea
- the unification movements of the late 19th century
- the second industrial revolution
- the lingering effects of Ottoman encroachment
- Russia's desires to meddle in central European affairs
- the effects of militarism and aggressive mobilization
- the have-not nations' desires for empire in the late 19th century
- etc.

According Ed Gibbons Jr, here, the Bulgarians, Serbs, and Hungarians are the Great War's sine qua non. Feel free to ignore all those issue mentioned above which weren't really solved by the Versailles settlement and played a significant role in spurring the second world war.

ETA: please stick to jocks and socks.

Sure I'll bite.

quote:

Don't know. Not familiar with much of Japanese history until the 1800s aside from the fact that the Mongols failed to invade them. Blame that on the American education system that save for the Mongolian Invasion and WWII rarely mention Asia.

quote:

What was the rebellion that occurred in China at the turn of the century and how did it get its name.

That would be the Boxer Rebellion. It was due to them being sick of foreigners on their soil, specifically the British who they called Boxers.

China I'm very familiar with their history having lived there for 3 years.

quote:

What were the Indian tribes that fought with the Britain's and which fought with the French in the French and Indian war.

I know the Iroquois fought with the British, but I don't know what tribes fought with the French. Don't remember the rest of them.

None of those questions are near as easy as what side the fricking Russians fought on in WWI. You're asking $500,000 questions on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, while I'm asking you the $2,000 question.

What is your excuse for not writing the paper?

When I was doing my BSN it was all online. I had to write a paper a week basically. And I hadn't been a student in 16 years. I worked full time, helped relocate my family across the country after the flood, and still was able to get all my schoolwork done(making straight As in all my classes as well). Sorry you suck.
