panslavism

- the conservative response to liberalism during the 19th century and the whole balance of power idea
- the unification movements of the late 19th century
- the second industrial revolution
- the lingering effects of Ottoman encroachment
- Russia's desires to meddle in central European affairs
- the effects of militarism and aggressive mobilization
- the have-not nations' desires for empire in the late 19th century

I understand that this all played into the start of ww1. The other guy was claiming the powder keg that ignited it was Russia and Serbs being allies. I stated earlier in this thread that the real cause of ww1 was European imperialism, industrialism and nationalism and that since the age of colonialism European powers had been having dick measuring contests throughout the globe but then with the industrial revolution that came at the turn of the 20th century, all of those powers now had advanced firepower that they were itching to use. And that basically they just wanted an excuse to go to war. Add in the gridlock alliance system and you have the great war. But what I was talking about with the other guy wasn't all of the reasons that causes world war 1

What is your excuse for not writing the paper?
lazy and stupid. thought I could get away with it.

When I was doing my BSN it was all online. I had to write a paper a week basically. And I hadn't been a student in 16 years. I worked full time, helped relocate my family across the country after the flood, and still was able to get all my schoolwork done(making straight As in all my classes as well).

good for you. I probably wouldn't take the classes you did they don't seem very fun to me. Also I don't see how writing these papers at this stage of my college career will help me in my career.

Sorry you suck
well that's just like, your opinion lady.

None of those questions are near as easy as what side the fricking Russians fought on in WWI. You're asking $500,000 questions on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, while I'm asking you the $2,000 question.
that's subjective. What is a harder question to one person may be easier to another. I've only had 2 history classes, world history 1, us history II in college so most of my knowledge comes from high school and history channel.

You also are not very bright. You copied a paper off someone that had the same class last semester?

Don't most all college courses use software to check for plagiarism? We had to run all of our papers through Turnitin and have a score less than 20%(iirc) in order for the paper to be accepted by our instructors.

ETA: Sorry other posters if this was already addressed...I didn't read all pages of the thread

If you grew up in Asia, sure, but if you grew up in America, not really. You're taught about WWI and II from like 3rd grade on and repeatably.

I made a mistake forgetting which is Russia was on. I've already admitted this. It is something that I should not have forgot but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about history and aren't fit to teach it in high school which is what you stated earlier.

Eta: and also, idk about you but for me we were taught about ww1 about maybe a week, but it was just enough to get us setup for ww2 which is what most American school systems focus on.

I was gonna stay out of this thread until I saw this gem.

Holy shite dude, you just got busted for plagiarism and you're getting your a-hole torn open by little league softball questions in this thread - you aren't better than ANYTHING right now.

The audacity to be able to sit back and look down your nose on anybody right now is fricking mind-boggling. I hope you're very young and using rubbers.

This is correct. If you can't even do the assigned work you are in no position to say that you're better than anything.

OP, You deserve whatever punishment comes your way. No excuse for what you did and it wasn't a difficult assignment.

No you don't. Things are a bit more serious when you start plagiarizing as a professor.

As someone who used to teach at a university I would hate working with someone like you - just taking the easy way out every time.

Lol.

You can't even write a fricking paper and you want to be a professor who writes ALL THE TIME?

Football. Don't know if I'm gonna go for it or just coach high school. I've got a ga spot locked up at a small college if I want it.
