And shove it up your arse.

These cats call 3+ times a day.

I have pressed 9 multiple times to be added to the do not call list. Doesn't help.

I have pressed 1 to speak with a representative 4 or 5 times the last few months and decline the offer after they reveal it costs money to "list" your business with google. Doesn't help.

When I google the business name, the information pops up.

What I do does not advertise and people don't google what I do as it is not a common necessity to the general public. They don't get it.

I've been very polite. It's about to get ugly.

Any tips to stop this madness?

If they are only calling you 3 times a day, you are lucky. I have done the exact same things you have done to try to stop the madness, but had no luck.
I even talked to my advertising rep from YP or whatever they call themselves these days, and she told me that I could buy some premium package to filter out those calls. Sounds sort of like extortion to me.
I pay for a business line to sell things, not have Google, or whoever call me and tie my line up to sell me shite.
Chad, get a life.

You don't have to have one for them to do this. They call my 89 year old grandma multiple times a day on her home phone, I've been there when they do.

She always yells at the recording thinking it'll accomplish something

Just pay them. They have all your information and search history anyway.

The google My Business app/page is a blessing to businesses. I get more leads off of that than any other form of advertising.

Every damn day. I tell them Google has my info and you guys aren't Google.
Luckily I pay for the call screening service and now it tells me if it's spam or a business calling.

Tell them your business raises funds and provides advertising for right wing candidates.

Problem solved.

I was getting 8-10 calls a day. It was maddening.

one day I was looking at google maps (looking at st George boundary) and noticed the businesses around us were labeled by name on the map and we weren’t

I “verified” our listing on the google page for that and poof...the calls stopped. Haven’t had one for weeks

google is probably data mining our servers now and selling our IP to the Chinese, but it was worth it

We have had no luck getting them to stop. Ask politely to take us off their call list -- nope. Tell them to stop calling -- nope. No matter what you do or say the bastards keep calling.

Can we file a complaint with the FCC?

Folks, this isn't Google. Google doesn't call businesses to verify their listings. Its a scam. Hang up and block the number.

I dont answer any calls I don't recognize. And I have a biz too but I have all my clients numbers. If it's a potential new client and they're serious, leave a message....maybe I'll call.
