Well, I'm here to tell you that it is an extremely unlikely possibility.
It's not
quote:
You either misread some stuff, or you were looking at the wrong search tab, or you were on page 100 of the results or something
Maybe
quote:
How have I been dishonest?
When you have to misrepresent my statements, intentionally, to prove your own point. That's dishonesty. So is saying bullshite like this
quote:
I can assure you that the #1 result for the search terms you provided did not change over the course of this conversation, much less your entire top 10 results.
You can't help framing up a straw man to take down and attach it to me. It's weak. And it's dishonest. Your results can absolutely change based on recent search and web history. Your results can and often are different than other's when searching the same thing. Tell me if those 2 statements are true or false. Because that's all the frick I was suggesting.
Why are you laughing at my experience, btw? Do I need to get one of my buddies in this thread to say "I know him and that's the kind of stuff he does" like little Chris did for you?

cargos and flip flop wearing coder for whoever the frick who is not dumb = dishonest motherfricker.
That's some fricking logic right there.

JFC. Is that how you read that post?
You and kork are definitely buddies.

I got you, baw.

Maybe the admins should try policing the PT every once in a while.
Just an idea.
Just an idea.

You said what makes him a dishonest motherfricker was because you apparently know he is a cargo and flip flop wearing coder for whoever the frick.
So yes..
But since you know this, can you provide proof? How do you know this?

how hard it was to locate these examples on Google. I had to know the name of the researcher and the specific story about the internal e-mails to get them in a search result.
Simply Googling "examples of Google/Facebook/Twitter bias" only returns articles about how they aren't biased. Imagine that.
I responded by pointing out that the exact search terms you provided not only returned the article you wanted as #1, but also that at least half of the top 10 was anti-google. Did you think no one would check your claims? A simple search proved two of your claims wrong.
Conveniently, after it's been pointed out that you were wrong, your first page results mysteriously changed right then:
quote:
It is the top result when I use the same 3 original searches now, being purple as a previously clicked link. I also see other results that were not originally there (as an interesting side note).
In my two decades of googling, I have never witnessed such a drastic change in the first page of results for any search. I even regularly perform equivalent searches both logged in and logged out of my account, and while the results do differ slightly, I have never seen a difference like you described here. And again, it was quite the convenient anomaly given your claims.
quote:All I did was point out the inconsistencies in your claims.
You can't help framing up a straw man to take down and attach it to me. It's weak. And it's dishonest.
quote:Sure they can, but I have never (again, in my 20 years of googling) seen a page jump from nowhere in the top results (you claimed you couldn't find it at all, correct?) to all of a sudden being #1. Not only would that be a jarring, sudden change, but it would be stupid. Again I ask, why would google put pages you've already been to at #1 if they weren't legit top content?
Your results can absolutely change based on recent search and web history
quote:Yep, but I have never seen a difference as drastic as you claim on a google search. And I'm getting tired of repeating myself, but again it is quite strange that your results "fell in line" with everyone else's only after being called out.
Your results can and often are different than other's when searching the same thing.
quote:No, you were not only suggesting that. You weren't suggesting anything. You were flat out claiming not just a minor, but a huge, glaring bias in google's search results. A bias that you were unable to reproduce.
Tell me if those 2 statements are true or false. Because that's all the frick I was suggesting.
quote:Nope, I believe you. I just found it hilarious that someone hired you for a position that you are seemingly in no way qualified for.
Why are you laughing at my experience, btw? Do I need to get one of my buddies in this thread to say "I know him and that's the kind of stuff he does" like little Chris did for you?

Are you talking about the "russia fairy tale" for which dozens of people are facing charges?
I am far from a Trump diehard, but I wanted to underscore this because this is pretty embarrassing. Most of the charges relate to Russian nationals and Manafort (the latter which mostly pertained to his dealings with Ukraine). The infamous, laughable Steele dossier, on which the media breathlessly reported, and which was cited for FISA surveillance, was complete and utter nonsense. There was no material, credible evidence found of any wrongdoing by Trump after an incredibly thorough investigation.
The Russia fairy tale was one of the most fricked up shams propagated by the media in the modern era. To defend its validity at this point makes you hardly more credible than a Poliboard Q-bot.

I searched 4 different yet similar phrases, the last of which included the name of the guy I was looking for. That's going to create a significant input. I don't know what else to tell you. It took me a while to respond to Drac. It's not because I don't like responding with pro-me arguments.
Well you've been googling for 2 decades, so I guess we're done here.
You'll have to cut that deep experience in half given when the implementation of the technology occurred, but still, a decade of googling.

Probably because of all the hate speech on the poli board. Chicken needs to clean that place up, honestly. The place has become a seedy den of nastiness. Until then, tigerdroppings has earned its place on the black list.

After all this talk about suppression and blacklists, I decided to see what would happen if I googled TigerDroppings. Ironically, the link to this post about being blacklisted is on of the very first results

I consider myself independent and I am not a fan of Trump (has nothing to do with party. I am actually a registered Republican. I just don't like him and if you are not pro-trump you are an outsider) and I don't agree with most of the stuff most of the people on there post, but I don't think it needs to be cleaned up.
If they are having discussions (as crazy as they might be), then that is their right to post whatever is allowed.

Right? To think, these people live among us. We, as a species, have grown past Darwinism and retards that should have died off naturally decades ago are breeding at much higher rates than educated people.
