What's ironic about the entire exercise of humoring Drac's bad faith discussion strategy by providing the links is how hard it was to locate these examples on Google. I had to know the name of the researcher and the specific story about the internal e-mails to get them in a search result.

You don’t think it’s important to actually have support for a claim?

Why didn't I see that when I first clicked on this thread instead of reading all of the replies? Granted, there were some hard truths pointed out in this thread but, still, anything from Project Veritas should be taken with a grain of salt. James O'Keefe, the site's founder, is a grade A piece of shite liar.

The point is the inconsistency. Plenty of leftist websites tout conspiracies and are run by POS people, but yet they remain off the list. But it doesn't matter because everyone by now knows Google's agenda. If you needed further proof, or if you've been living under a rock, it's there in the OP.

Where do you think TD gets it?

News doesn't break here. It's brought here from Twitter or from news site.

TD never breaks any LSU football news? Texags certainly has broken plenty of news related to A&M and A&M football, I could only imagine that TD and SEC rant has done the same.

Simply Googling "examples of Google/Facebook/Twitter bias" only returns articles about how they aren't biased. Imagine that.
WTF? I searched "examples of google bias" and of my top 10 results, 5 claimed there is bias, 3 claimed no bias, and 2 were kind of iffy.

Either you're lying, or your own search history bias is turning up in your search results.

For example a YouTube personality may be demonetized or a Twitter user banned not because of their political believes but their behavior. That is NOT targeting conservatives yet is cited as such regularly.

Ok, but how is that different than WAFB breaking a news story they learned from some national outlet?

Something about TD being labeled as the "voice of reason" is pretty damn comical given the last decade of this site.

Did you check Bing?

For future reference, if something is difficult to locate on Google, that generally means that what you're looking for has very little support among the entire rest of the internet/world. This usually means that it is false, or inconsequential / nobody gives a shite.

maybe but most news sites are just regurgitating what they learned from another source

Looks like we've got a classic chicken/egg scenario

I don’t have to prove an accusation is false, you have to prove it’s true.

Have you ever read the WSJ editorial page?

I promise I'm not. The article Salmon quotes below is the exact one I linked. Perhaps by clicking on my examples, your results were adjusted.

The one article suggesting bias when I searched was Google's efforts to fine-tune its machine learning to prevent generic bias (such as assuming all neurosurgeons are male because the algorithm detects a majority male population in the industry).

Drac, thank you so much for responding to my examples of bias by dismissing the Wall Street Journal as having too much right leaning bias to be trusted. It was a prefect retort.

Jesus Christ, I can't write these justifications any better.

"If Google thinks a peer-reviewed researcher who recently testified before the Senate about Google bias is not important, they will adjust the info they feed me accordingly."

Of course, when I google "Trump two scoops" I have a multitude of options for reading about how absurd he is.

Care to share your top results for "examples of google bias"?

Or, you know, perhaps it's just a high-ranking link. Both Bing and DuckDuckGo have that exact link in their top 2 results for the same phrase.

You are too ate up with this shite to think logically.
