Its fricking prom. Anyone who is a junior or senior in high school has an opportunity to go to it. You dress formal, go out to eat with your date, usually with a group of people or just the two of you. Go to school and take pictures, see who the king and queen will be and leave to go to the after party.
There is no need at all to make it an individualistic. Everyone gets dressed up for a moment that last about an hour.. Then you take off the tux/dress and go to the best part, the after party. No one truly doesn't care about any extra shite you do.
And what? 20 years from now you are going to be like... "Look how I did it at prom back in my day.. No date, but I had my lil brother"

People make big deals out of a lotta shite. Im not gonna shite on someone else's good time. I took a stretch hummer to prom. It sorta seemed like a big deal at the time

It's over the top but I think this one is in good fun. All the chicks my age (42) have been blowing up Facebook with their Keighleigh posing in horse carriages and shite so it's not just a black thing
