Turn up the volume you can hear him crying/moaning on the ground.

A savage beating would have been more appropriate. Too many people rely on guns because they are either too weak or too fat and obese to protect themselves.
So the father is supposed to let an obviously deranged younger man break into his home and then just trust to luck/skill/strength to overpower the intruder? Add to the fact that his family is there and the intruder is obviously after his daughter? Using your logic, maybe too many people rely on the police because they are either too weak or too fat and obese to protect themselves? What about door locks? Should people not use those because they are too weak to protect themselves?
God created all men, but Samuel Colt made them equal.

I'm 55 yrs old. My kids have kids. I was one of only 37 white people at a Cameo/Midnight Star concert in 1986 at the PMAC. I am the only person in my extended family to have graduated college (unless you count my daughters). I have been fired 4 times, jumped an entire hibiscus on a Schwinn orange crate bicycle at age 11, almost caught a MLB foul ball, lost $2300 in a single hand of bouret, and started my own company 11 years ago in an industry I knew very little about (I have yet to be fired), and I just got back from a dive bar where I watched two retired strippers try to dry out a spot on the carpet where one of them had spilled a drink by using a propane tank that they spent 45 minutes unhooking from a gas grill that was just inside the entrance. They would still be there trying to get it off the grill if I had not given them lefty loosey right tighty advice.
I know you have (right now) 14 upvotes but this deserves more. Hell of a post, man. Hell of a post.

I was looking at the guys face and eyes. Do we know if he was drunk or on drugs?
I could've sworn he winked at the Ring camera. Could've been a glitch in the recording but it seemed like a wink.

I would’ve told the kid that I’ve called the police and if he busted in I was going to I’m going to shoot him. I don’t like the idea of blasting some unarmed kid who was fricked in the head over relationship bullshite.
Why are people insisting on calling this shithead a kid? He was not a kid. He was 22 years old! He'd unquestionably do life or get the death penalty for any murder he would have committed if/when he got in that house. He wasn't a kid and he wasn't coming to talk.

These people are sad that defend the "kid". Here is a youtube video that shows the broken in door. He broke through a deadbolt with 3 inch screws securing it... But yeah, he just wanted to talk. Longer Youtube Version of events

Dude looked to be high as a kite too look at his eyes and facial expressions leading up to the forced entry. Fella was up to no good for sure

The fact that one person wanted to put this father in prison
Not sure that's the intent of a grand jury.
8-1 in his favor seems like a solid spread. It's not like everyone had sense in the "good old days."

Too many people like you are fricking retarded. Innocent people have been sucker punched or gotten into fights they didn't start and have gotten killed. Think anyone with a functioning brain should say to themselves "You know what? I'm going to put down this obviously superior tool for self-defense against an obviously forceful assault on my own property and use my fists instead."? You are a moron...

What the frick is this shite?
If you are threatening my life, I don't want a fair fight. I want it to be as unfair as possible in my favor.
If the dad had not been home and the mom had been the shooter would you be saying the same thing?

If that guy had been making threats and stalking the daughter? Not Guilty.

Great shoot. Proven stalker and abusive guy. Tried breaking into her PARENT'S home in broad daylight. Dangerous human.
I love the father's actions. Need more of that across the country.
Actually, I think the father waited too long

We’ve found the first fatty in the thread. I said it was a good shoot and was a deserved result. At some point you have to be able to physically defend yourself. Relying on guns is going to get your arse beat one day. Maybe a debilitating life altering beating. You best at least get in semi decent shape and learn to defend yourself. The way this country is going you will need it.
