Golf. Lowest score after 18 rounds wins. Played with full deck and 2 joker's.

Cards count as face value with some exceptions.

King is 0
Ace is 1
5 is -5
Joker is -15

You're dealt 4 or 6 cards to lay out face down on a 2x2 or 3x3 grid without looking at the cards. You can lay the cards wherever you want, but once they're down, you can only look at the bottom 2/3.

Once each player has 4/6 cards, the remaining deck is a draw pile with one card turned over in a discard pile. Every turn starts with a card drawn and ends with one of your 4/6 being turned over and a card placed in the draw pile.

You start by drawing a card or picking up from the discard pile. This card can either replace one of your 4/6 and thus be turned face up, or can be discarded. If it is discarded, one of your 4/6 cards must be turned over. Obviously you know what the bottom 2/3 are so the top 2/3 are a gamble. This repeats until everyone has all 4/6 cards turned up. Tally up each total and move to the next round.

If you have 2 cards of the same number, they zero out each other. Obviously excluding K, A, 5, and joker.

My kids (7 and 9) love Sushi Go Party. I actually enjoy it a lot too, though the rules can get confusing depending on what cards you choose to include each game.

LINK

They also enjoy Exploding Kittens, which is just different enough from Uno to break up the monotony.

Every kid should learn poker. Besides fish, it was the first card game my dad taught me. Blackjack as well.

Indian fire is a fun game... You deal everyone one card, you can't look at your card, you have to put it on your forehead and then say whether or not you have it (it's similar to I got it). You base your decision on what the other person has.

Person who is in who has highest card wins, people who called and loses has to match the pot.

It's best to teach them these games early so they don't get hustled later in life.
