I had an MRI today, that was a long 15 minutes. This would send me to a padded room.

This mission went the most bigly into space we’ve ever gone.
Hopefully they get something better than a buffet of McDonald's and Burger King when they go to the White House!

They continue to orbit apparently and wait it out. Or adjust landing zone

Master diver probably did.

“Nope! Still can’t hear them sir.”

“They are right fricking there. We are watching them!”

“Nope I need them to verbally confirm they are ready. Procedure.”

As cool as this is I can see how it got old after a few times on apollo. And that was before we all lived on cell phones and tik tok.

I find it interesting we abandoned the space shuttle and went back to 50s capsule tech for reentry.

Imagine how advanced we’d be if they never abandoned deep space exploration for the low-earth barely in orbit obsession.
Yeah, the shuttle landing is cool, but it never got more than around 400 miles from Earth.

I don't think the two technologies can be married as of yet.

“Rescue teams are still trying to establish communications…”

You have 3 fricking helicopters and 4 speed boats within 100 foot. Just open the fricking door.

Unlike everything up to this point, it ain’t rocket science.

This procedure came as part of a response to what AT THE TIME was thought to be Gus Grissom not waiting to open the hatch and his capsule sunk due to it. Of course he didn't live to be vindicated.
