Let's go! Hope they have a safe flight if they end up launching today. Excited for this one.

If one of the white males is gay then we officially hit the quota.

Me either. My 7 year old has always said he wanted to go to the moon, and I've always told him that in his lifetime it will be possible.

Eh, somebody needs to be able to say "Take off to the great white north".

If you get that reference, you're old.

Anything at all to even hint at a scrubbed launch? I want to make sure I'm available to watch this.

Here's a live stream YouTube link to NASA's channel if anyone's interested. They have coverage going on now...
Artemis II Live Coverage

And here's Everyday Astronaut's coverage of it

And Spaceflight Now's coverage

And finally NASASpaceflight's coverage

All of those currently have some type of live coverage.

Are they going to the moon or just circling it?

It’s going to be a free return trajectory just like how Apollo 13 was (why it’s going further out than any other). It’s not a new tech/Artemis thing. It’s orbital mechanics of the course.

So it won’t even orbit the moon. Just loop and come straight back.

It’s landing 50 miles off the coast of where I live. I’ll provide my safety reports.

Circling it? Hell, Apollo 13 did that in 1970 and they weren't even intending to. BOO

Can we add the link to the NASA broadcast to the OP? That might be useful to others.

Sitting there upside down and strapped in four hours before launch seems like psychological torture.

I wonder if they just don’t eat the day before.

I’d hate to need to take a shite 3 hours from now.
