re: GMT- winter storm Sunday morning edition

Charlotte check in here. 25° here with freezing rain. Got a little sleet over night and the roads are a nice white. Pretty weird to step outside and feel it rain ice lmao

I’ve been through a lot of hurricanes in my time, but this storm is a new one.

We’re in Batesville MS and just had a huge pine limb knock our electrical service line and weatherhead off the side of our house. Also broke a window on that side.

Waiting for daylight to assess the damage and take pic for insurance purposes.

Sleet yesterday - woke up to thunder and lightning around 2AM - still not enough light to tell what's falling atm

It's 67 and foggy in the Coastal Counties. Should be getting colder around 1000. POC1 is going.

GM. Drove from Louisville to NC. Heard the snow is pretty bad Kentucky. Had some snow / ice mix here Raleigh. Hopefully i can get outbof here later this week. Stay safe

Colder in BTR than was forecast for this point in the day (was supposed to be mid-40s and is hovering around freezing). May get a little frozen precipitation out of this one after all.
