Sam Altman looks like he's about 5-9, 150. Why is he taking GLP-1?

His entire argument here is "some people won't do other things while taking the drug"

Keep slow drivers out of passing lane.

It’s all just BS until unclogging passing lane arteries (and using signal blinkers, if pharma is pushing new drug limits, throw this in as well).

Then, and only then, will I be impressed.

6'2" 189 as of this morning. Was 204 after the holidays and been cutting for beach season (without having to use reta). Sitting pretty lean with maintaining muscle mass right now.

Haven't been in true running shape since kids.

Is there an actual pharmacological hypothesis for this or is it simply a case of misguided correlation?

Cancer cells need nourishment and energy. One of the reasons cancer patients have no appetite and lose weight is that the body is trying to starve off the cancer growth in a last ditch blockade effort to "siege the castle" . If GLP-1s are already doing this as a cosmetic endeavor then wouldn't that nullify any benefits for a non-fatty?

You can do that, but you won’t lose as much weight. I’ve lost 43 lb since the last week of January. But, I’ve watched my diet and now I’m starting walking every day. In another 20-30 lb. I’ll kick it up and add more workout and some running. I plan to be down over 100 lb. by Christmas.

The thing about this stuff with me, eating less is easy. It has done something to my system where pretty much all food tastes like shite. Which is fine by me. It’s healthier to eat to live than to eat for pleasure.

No one gives a frick that you workout a lot. 100% chance you are the guy at the gym insecure because you look like a thumb. Go away.
I want our healthcare system to improve. Weight loss helps because it takes strain off of it from fewer people with obesity caused conditions.

Keep it up brother. I’m down 25 pounds in 6 weeks. It kills the hunger noise so I can actually end the day with a caloric deficit.

Ten years ago I lost the 100 lb same as I’m working on doing now. But this stuff does make it easier. But you still gotta eat better and start exercising when you hit that first wall.

It’s crazy, I’ll be hungry but I’ll start thinking about what to eat and there is nothing I want so I’ll just move on. I don’t eat dinner about 5 out of 7 days of the week.

If I didn’t enjoy drinking 3-4 days a week I might be maybe 10 more lb down.
