I don't care if they are lazy or not. I don't understand why the OT cares that much.
Insecurity
They are either 1) fat and don't want to take them or exercise and want everyone else to be fat with them or 2) lost weight and somehow feel as though people losing weight with a drug diminished their own weight loss
Its so fricking pathetic

serious question: if you're 275lbs how active are you going to be?
Just cause you’re fat doesn’t mean you have to be lazy

do you think if the glp1 helps them to drop 100lbs, they wont naturally feel better and want to be more active at 175 and way less likely to damage their body exercising?
Damage to their body? Absolutely not. Nobody is saying go do a buncha polymerics. The number 1 goal while on that shite should be to preserve as much muscle as possible. You can’t do that eating 1000 cals and shrinking to be skinny fat

I'm really getting close to the point in thinking the government needs to subsidize this at this point

The #1 goal for most people should be to simply lose the weight. That in itself will make them feel better and fix so many issues.
Once they lose the weight, then they can start to focus on body composition.

I'm already there. I am generally not in favor of it at all, but we do it anyway for all kinds of bullshite
This is one of the few that would be a massive net positive for the tax payer, in theory

Lazy people that weigh 175lbs are going to have far less health problems than lazy people that weigh 275lbs. And are going to cost the taxpayer a lot less as a result
Lazy people that weigh 135 cost just as much as lazy people who weigh 335.
We don't have an obesity problem. We have a lazy problem. Sometimes it manifests as obesity, most of the time it manifests as Democrats.

Its 100% correct.
I'm not saying they shouldn't strength train while losing weight. That would be dumb as everyone should be strength training, whether they are trying to lose weight or not.
But for obese people, simply losing the weight it the most important thing to their health.
That is a fact.

Cancer cells absorb sugar like a fat guy at Krispy Kreme.
I'm assumjng anything that lowers their supply impairs their growth.

No he is not. If you are obese, first step lose weight. That is 100% what the doctor is going to tell you.
Excessive fat is an anchor on you physically and mentally. Simply losing weight will place you in an overall better feeling place.
The assumption here is you are losing weight willingly and not because of an illness.

I won't debate any further, but I will say this:
It's hard to diet when our food supply isn't so horrible.

This is objectively false for healthcare costs

These cancer patients should just have more will power and exercise more.
