Nah, this was definitely Global Wildlife.

Ya, I found it. I was thinking of something different. A few years back a couple 20 yr olds or something shot a big arse deer out there and just took the head. They got caught, but I cant remember where they shot it.

I love watching redneck hunters and fishermen get nailed by Game Wardens. Nothing gets me harder than those retards shooting at decoys in a field, while Wardens are right there hiding in trees for the cuff and stuff.

It’s called culling he heard and is necessary

And the people allowed to do it should pay a nice fee to help keep the place running well and my kids happy to feed them frickers.

I bet that's not entirely true.

Can you imagine how many bullets a decoy rhinoceros would absorb in any 24 hour period outside of a major African city? You could probably retire on the lead recycling value.

Two exotic deer have been slain at a nonprofit wildlife sanctuary in Tangipahoa Parish, according to an official at the center, and state law enforcement agents have arrested three north shore men accused of committing various crimes after hours on the property. Rodney Pulliam, 50, of Covington; Jamie Taylor, 21, of Franklinton; and Bryan Welch, 19, of Folsom; are believed to have gotten into the Global Wildlife Center several nights within the past three months, said Adam Einck, a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries spokesman.

Taylor and Welch are each facing various counts, including two counts of trespassing, two counts of unauthorized entry of a business, two counts of livestock theft, one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle and one count of criminal conspiracy. Taylor was booked with discharging a firearm from a public road, simple criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon, Einck said.

Here’s an update
LINK

Apparently injured animals (usually accidentally run over by the wagon) were euthanized by hammer or guns. They don’t seem to have a vet at the location for injuries. Doubt this hurts their business though.

Damn shame. That's what I would suggest do. Would be cool to see those things running wild in LA and MS.

Do you not know what happened to Free Willy when they released him? Animals that are fed daily by humans have no survival skills.

No issue. Laws change all the time depending on overpopulation of animals. Some areas release predators to keep deer populations down because not enough humans are killing them.

I read a part 2 today talking about the non profit part of it and the owner leases the property and the animals to global wildlife and he lives on the property in the bungalows. Staff were sent to go get alcohol and other things with the non profit credit cards for the owner. Also rumors that some of the exotic deer were sold to hunting leases to hunt for sport.

I dont have a problem with him selling deer. Kinda shady to be paying yourself rent though from the non profit. Killing animals with hammers and baseball bats though is disgusting. Especially being they are run over by the wagons which according to the videos seem preventable.

well the problem comes in that they portray themselves as an animal Sanctuary and tell people they send them to Zoos etc. Making money off a non-profit.

I guess I read it wrong, he leasing land and animals to GW, which is the non-profit. Or does he have a non-profit and he leases the animals to the for profit GW?

He runs both. It's his land. He's leasing it to himself. The nonprofit is paying rent. The private side sells animals. I'm fine with high fence hunting etc but this guy using non profit loopholes and some shady crap plus not really giving a shite about the animals is sick.

IRS should look into it.

Somewhat unrelated, but there was once an effort to transplant the hippopotamus into the wilds of Louisiana...
