How is this news?
Read the article. The owner of this "non profit" is basically using the GWC to launder his "for profit" money and commit tax fraud. His own sister has turned on him.

Whatever is going on, it isn’t good. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Doesnt make any sense for a business owner to whack an animal with a bat right after paying customers roll by.
22 feasibe but then again, loud pops with paying customers around...
Much less what does a new giraffe costs? Cant be cost effective to just whack one and buy a new one

And according to what some of the people interviewed were saying was that they could install something on the wagons to keep from rolling over the animals in the first place at little or no cost. But they chose not to do it.

It did start as a private hunting camp (by Kenny’s dad?)
Once he changed it to Global (mostly for taxes) the hunting club did not stop hunting overnight. They reportedly had beast feasts years ago, but I haven’t heard anything for years. And even back then, it was the smaller animals that were originally the game animals. No expensive, large animals.
I don’t have a problem with him. He took his land and animals and turned it into a pretty cool place that thousands of people have enjoyed. Most of those animals would not exist without Global. His main problem is that he’s been too successful. Now people expect it to be run like Audubon.

Exactly.. yes they need to change some practices and probably have a vet on retainer but it’s his land...charging rent to the non profit side is 100% legal and to be expected as long as he can show fair market value.. sounds like he pissed off some people because it’s gotten to big and he’s making to much money

I read that article. While there are some valid points raised some of it came off as disgruntled former employees.

Part 3 came out tonight with several former employees coming forward claiming sexual harassment issues with him. This is getting pretty crazy.

Yeah, I saw this on twitter earlier this evening, hence my previous post.
Whatever is going on is not good. 4jr wanted to go to GW last Sunday, but the rain got us.

I am calling it now. He is going to close up shop and sell hunts to get rid of the animals. Then sell the land to a developer. Laugh all the way to the bank.

He's got problems beyond sexual assault. As I said earlier, even his own sister is ratting on him. He's basically been using this non-profit as his private slush fund to enrich himself, and is putting very little, if anything, back into the Global Wildlife Center.

Just read an article about male managers being scared to mentor females due to this whole #metoo movement. Not saying the former employees are lying, just a weird coincidence.

Anyone ever been to the racetrack when they put down 6 figure horses?

Nothing that was said is illegal, the leasing of the property and animals is not illegal.
Posted on 5/22/19 at 8:44 am to GREENHEAD22
Should someone making millions per year qualify for a non-profit? Thats the big question here. I think they were claiming some sort of educational material but non exists. If this were classified as a private business there would be alot less problems. Sounds like the guy is just using the designation to skirt taxes.

I understand what you're are saying but while it's a shitty thing to do doesn't necessarily mean its illegal. Just saying
