For you ranters that are more informed on either side - I cant pay attention to the extremes on both sides but would love to hear some informed feedback to this article on either side of the issue - LINK

I am very skeptical of any report put out by the UN. It's definitely warmer now than it was 20 years ago. I certainly believe greenhouse gasses and removing rainforests play a part, but I don't think anyone truly knows how big of a part they play.

Whether the article is correct or not is irrelevant.

The United States and western Europe aren't the problem, and haven't been for almost half a century. Yet no one wants to address the countries that are actually the problem.

That should tell you all you need to know about the current climate "crisis."

I'll be dead before anything extreme happens and I don't have kids soooooo....frick'em.

If all the little brats now are like this 16 year old tard popping up in the news recently, global warming is my last concern.

I am not informed but I do have degrees in sciences. I am not going to spend a second of my time worrying about my life, my children's lives or my grandchildren lives relative to climate change. Don't pollute the shite out of the planet and work to find sources of energy for the next thousand years and continue to improve crop yield through scientific research. But don't worry about this shite.

We are all part of the problem. Just because there is a bigger problem doesn't mean you can't be a problem. Also, remember that the pollution being created in Asia is largely to produce goods for North America and Europe.

Like the last 70 years when they’ve been making doomsday predictions that never come true?

Is the solution to give them more power and money? Are all the rich progressives selling their oceanfront property?

I would tend to agree with this, but what could realistically be done to address the countries that are the real problem?

Ok, you got me. I do feel guilty now. Damn northern North Americans are the scourge of the earth!

appreciate it, thanks!

I'll continue to remember that the planet constantly goes through warming and cooling cycles and what man is doing hasn't changed that. I'll sleep real good at night.

Economic sanctions until environmental compliance is achieved on their end is one option

Probably nothing.

Sea levels might be 3 feet higher in 80 years, but I believe the human component of that is significantly overblown.
