How many Former Glee actors does this make? I can’t clearly remember, but seems disproportionately large considering a large majority of them were under 35 when filming.

The lake (actually a reservoir) has a history of drownings. Deep, cold water combined with rip currents makes for a dangerous situation for those who either can't swim or can't swim well.

If it is a reservoir it is likely created by a dammed river. In that case, there is going to be a current rolling through. Although the current is for the most part pretty light, it can get really swift near the dam/locks

It’s amazing that someone hasn’t made a small anti drowning device that is unseen and can be activated in an emergency.
