I’ll confess. My wife and I did a gender reveal for our first child who is now 7. We asked the ultrasound person to put a blue or pink paper on an envelope. We held on to it for a few days until her parents happened to be visiting town.
We went to lunch and opened the envelope.
Looking back it’s a shame tannerite wasn’t somehow involved.

Either way, tell her you have decided to put being able to go to events like gender reveal parties with her ahead instead of making more money and that you are about to accept a job paying just less than half of what you are making now because you want to make sure you make her happy as possible by attending parties every time someone gets knocked up where they do some unoriginal bullshite just so that everyone can see whether its going to be pink or blue because if that's what the most important to her then that's the most important to you.

A few years ago my wife and I agreed to never attend a gender reveal party unless they have crawfish.

Tell her you refuse to be a party to what some damn medical book says is the gender. frick the XX or XY chromosomes. Tell her that in this new enlightened and open minded world we are building that you are waiting for the true gender reveal when the child is old enough to tell the world which gender they choose.

We always referred to hot/thin girls with large breasts as cornfed.
We would say she's cornfed if she had large breasts, but only if she is also thin.
